About Me

Welcome to PyschoLingo!

I'm Amber Kassis and here's a glimpse into who I am and why I'm so passionate about sharing psycholinguistics with you.

Who Am I?

I have a deep love for how speech is formed at a young age. Beyond the research realm, I’m an avid cheerleader, dancer, and pediatric volunteer at a local hospital.

I’m deeply passionate about helping children with speech difficulties because of my personal experience growing up with close relatives who faced significant speech struggles. I’ve seen firsthand how empowering it is when a child, despite their challenges, is given the right tools and encouragement to express themselves.

Early detection is key, as addressing speech difficulties early on can make a world of difference in a child’s development, helping them build the foundation they need for future success.

The most rewarding moment is seeing the smile on a child’s face when they are finally able to communicate their needs to others: it’s a moment of true connection that transcends words.

Through PyschoLingo, I aim to help parents stay aware of their child's speech progress. Whether you're a parent or simply curious about Psycholinguistics, I invite you to join me on this exploration.
